What is Shapewear?
It's a reinvented girdle that smooths and tightens the body's contours.
What shapers are most useful to brides?
First consider the style of you dress. Then figure out the problem spot you want to fix. If you plan to wear a sheath and want some control for instance, choose seamless shapewear with coverage from the mid-thigh to just above the waist; it will create an hourglass shape with no extra bulk. If you're wearing a short dress look for a high- cut brief with tummy control. You'll get coverage where you nee it, and you won't have to worry about your shapewear peeking out from the hem of your skirt.
Is there any flaw that shapers can't fix?
Not that I know of. There are undergarments to handle saddlebags, rear-end imperfections, even muffin top. For the upper body, there are bras that minimize back fat.
What types of undergarments are helpful to wear when dress shopping?
Most women are concerned about the lower body: stomach, thighs, and rear end. So I'd put on a footless shaper- or extra-supportive hoisery- to tackle those areas.

LatterDayBride & Prom is currently seraching for new faces for our upcoming photo shoots! If you are interested in modeling our beautiful gowns, send us the following information.

- At least one of the photos needs to be a current head shot with no makeup and hair left down naturally.
- At least one of the photos needs to be a full body shot.

Gateway Bridal and Prom is now featuring Aire Barcelona designed by Rosa Clara. They have been in business for about 15 years, and are now making there way into the United States. Gown prices range from $1,300 to $2,400.

Blue by Enzoani is new to the bridal industry. They have beautiful fashion forward gowns and accessories that are like nothing else out there! Gowns fall in the $1,300 to $2,100 range.

Love is a line by Enzoani, with great bridesmaid dresses or dresses that would be great for a black tie event!
